Petit Nord is a Danish brand specialized in leather clothing and shoes for kids. The founder and owner of the company, Jane Dencker Larsen, has a strong sense of pure Scandinavian design characterized by quality, simplicity and functionality.
Petit Nord is extremely conscious about the sources of the leather and skin materials used in Petit Nord productions. Animal welfare and high ethic standards are of highest priority.
All Petit Nord's materials originate from the EU, Greenland and Iceland and all production takes place in the EU. In this way Petit Nord has better control of all parts of the value chain.
Materials are carefully chosen and it is of outmost importance to avoid dangerous, contaminated and unsuitable parts. Natural materials are always preferred over synthetics anywhere possible and organic materials are increasingly incorporated into the production.
The classic closed leather slippers from Petit Nord are always in stock in multiple basic colors. In addition, there will always be new seasonal colors for the winter and summer collections.

Since we love Petit Nord leather slippers, and because so many toddlers have happily taken their first steps in them, we begged the designer and owner Jane Dencker Larsen to also produce toddler shoes. With the winter collection of 2011 our wish came true.
